In this series, I revisit the Impressionist legacy with a contemporary approach. The combined use of acrylic for depth and oil pastel for surface light creates a unique dialogue between the materials. The fragmented brushstrokes, reminiscent of pointillism, deconstruct the subject in order to better recompose it in the viewer's eye. It is a work exploring materials and optics, where each painting is a mosaic of colorful emotions.
