  • I purchased a painting on your web site. What happens next?
    - You will receive a confirmation email from artstudio29@gmail.com - Your painting will be carefully packed for shipping within the next 5 business days.
  • How my painting will be packaged ?
    - Paintings on stretched canvas will be shipped in a carboard box. - Paintings on unstretched canvas, drawings or photography on paper will be shipped rolled in a tube. - Paintings with at least one side of 48 inches / 122 cm or larger will be removed from the stretched bars, rolled up and shipped in a tube. You will have to re-stretch it when you will receive it. - If you prefer to have a large painting (48 in or more) shipped stretched, we will need to ship it in a wood crate - which will increase the shipping cost significantly.
  • How do you ship the paintings ?
    Usually, the paintings are shipped by a commercial courrier (DHL, FEDEX, UPS ...)
  • From where is my artwork being shipped ?
    The paintings are shipped from the Greater Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
  • Except the Price of the artwork and the Shipping cost, do I have to pay other extra fees?"
    If your artwork will be shipped outside of Canada, you will have to pay the Duties & Taxes of the destinations' country.
  • The Shipping cost for the country where I live, is not displayed when I'm trying to purchase an artwork on artstudio29.com. What should I do?"
    Please contact me at artstudio29@gmail.com and tell me in which country you are located and what is the artwork that you would like to purchase. Once you will provide that information, I will verify the cost of the shipping with the courier company and I will inform you. I will also add the shipping price for that country on the site.
  • The prices displayed on the site are in which currency ?
    In order to facilitate currency conversion for international customers, artstudio29.com site currently displays prices in US dollars. However, we are working actively to integrate the conversion into several currencies into the site shortly.
  • What information you need from me, to ship my artwork?"
    The courier companies need a delivery address. The delivery address cannot be a post office box as a signature is required upon delivery. They also require a contact telephone number and an email address so that the courier company can contact you with delivery information.
  • What form of payment are accepted?
    On our website we accept Debit, Credit Cards and PayPal. PayPal will allow you to pay using a Credit Card even if you don't have a PayPal account. Sorry, we don't accept cash, wire transfer, checks, or money orders.
  • What is your return policy?
    Have you changed your mind? I understand! Paintings can be exchanged for a credit on artStudio29.com for the full amount, minus any shipping costs, so long as certain conditions are met: -The collector has seven (7) days from reception of the artwork to advise us in writing that they would like to return the artwork. -The artwork must be returned in its original packaging and in the same condition as when it was shipped. It is important, therefore, to take care when unpacking and repacking the artwork.
  • What if I decide that I would like to return my artwork, but the 7 day window has passed?"
    We are sorry but we do not accept returns after this period of time.
  • Are you doing commissioned artwork?
    It may happen to me from time to time to make commissioned artworks. But most of the time I prefer to let my creativity "fly" free under no constraints.
  • If you accept to do a commissioned artwork, what is the process for that?"
    You will need to provide de following information for the desired artwork: - the size of the artwork - the subject and style (should be based on the paintings that you see on my site artstudio29.com) After receiving those informations, I will provide you a Quote that will show the price of the commissioned artwork, the shipping cost and the delays of creation. If you agree, a non-refundable deposit of 50% will be required to begin the painting. You will receive an invoice and a request for payment. Once the artwork is completed, I will provide you photos of the artwork. If you require some changes, I will try to do my best to satisfy your requirements. Once you will be happy with the result, you have to send the balance due of the invoice. The artwork will be packed and shipped within the next 5 business days.
  • What are the delays to complete a commissioned artwork?
    The delays depends on my availability and of the complexity of the artwork. Usually, it will take between 2 to 6 weeks to complete the commissioned artwork.
  • What if I don’t like the final product?
    Creating art is not a science. It may happen that the commissioned artwork doesn't correspond to the collector's vision. In this case, 50% of the initial deposit (which means 25% from the total cost of the commissioned artwork) can be used to purchase any other painting available on artstudio29.com site. This means that the other 50% of the initial deposit will not be refunded.
